Modern and minimalist.

Modern House in Victoria, BC, Canada

I do feel upset when I enter to traditional places with classic elements congested with huge components. They look so heavy and cluttered that I simply can’t breath there. The term home (defined as a place separated from the outside to have more privacy) has built a wall between inside and outside which creates complexity in form and function. And without a doubt this complexity affects people’s personalities.

In contrast, I love to go to modern houses with Modern Furniture where lines and surfaces are organized in very practical way. They are natural, simple, organic and beautiful. They are built to be a home but not separating you from outside, it brings the nature in, so you feel the space is attractive and inviting. In contemporary places space is reduced to its basic elements by using the basic geometric shapes as outlines, the colors are harmonious, non-fuzzy and bright and lighting is inviting. Furthermore the absence of clutter brings personality within the decor. So if you are very organized and hate cluttered spaces like I do, this is a place that will work for you.
