Time remapping: 1. Import your clip into the timeline.
2. In the timeline panel,click on the clip effect menu and choose Time remapping >speed.
3. Ctrl-click on the yellow rubberband to set a keyframe.
4. Note its separable halves.
5. Click on the yellow rubberband and drag it down to 1.00%. Move the time-indicator to the right to set the length of the freezed frame.Ctrl-click on the rubberband to create another keyframe. On the right side of the second keyframe click on the rubberband again and drag it up to 100%. The fixed frames would appear between two segments.
6. to make a backward effect, Ctrl-click on the keyframe(the right-half) and drag to the right.
7. so you added area that video plays backwards.
